Changes in immigration regulations
We would like to remind you that in accordance with the changes in regulations regarding the legalization of foreign nationals’ employment, effective from 1st of June 2025, employers are required to send a copy of the contract with the foreign national to the office that issued the permit or registered the declaration of employment:
From 1st of July 2025 – it is mandatory to submit a copy of the employment contract or contract of mandate in the case of a declaration of intent to employ a foreign national and a seasonal work permit.
From 1st of August 2025 – it will be mandatory to submit a copy of the employment contract or contract of mandate in the case of a work permit.
The contracts (specifically their copies in Polish, signed by both the employer and the foreign national) must be submitted after the documents are issued but before the foreign national starts working. In the case of a contract for assistance with harvesting, the contract must be submitted within 7 days from the start of work.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AGENCIES
All agencies that were registered in the KRAZ (National Register of Employment Agencies) before 1st of June 2025, and that provide job placement and/or temporary work services for foreign nationals must apply for a change in their registration entry (to reflect the type of services provided) by 31st of August 2025, in order to continue these activities. Failure to submit the application on time will result in losing the right to assign foreign nationals to temporary work for user employers.
